Hello! I'm a newbie to cello but have some music experience with piano and guitar.
I've started visiting cello classes and I think playing the cello is cool.
I need some advice from the experts.
I want to improve my skills at home but I still don't have a "home" cello.
The first question is: is it worth it to buy a cello or just rent it?
The second question: which one to choose?
I've asked my teacher and she told me I'm playing Palatino VC-450 Cello. I like it and have no problems with it. I'm not sure that I have to buy the same model. I googled and found Merano Cello. Some articles like this
claim it is best for beginners. I also found Cecilio CCO-100 and it is implied as "budget pick". So there are many options, and I really don't which one to choose.
What do you suggest?
